Vikings to face Keiser in semifinals
Grand View hosted Lindsey Wilson in the NAIA Quarterfinal competition and the No.8 Blue Raiders were sent home after a 10-7 defeat. Grand View is set to host Keiser (FL) in the semifinal round on Saturday, December 3. Kickoff is scheduled for noon at Duke Williams Stadium.
This is the first meeting between the schools. The Seahawks previously made the playoffs in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
This season, Keiser is 9-3 overall, and their only losses come from NCAA schools. The Seahawk's postseason run includes defeating No. 4 seed Bethel (TN) 27-17, and No. 1 Morningside in the Quarterfinals 29-28.

Vikings win playoff opener
The #2 Grand View football team began its quest for an NAIA National Championship on November 19 as it hosted #16 Carroll College in the first round of the playoffs. With winter weather conditions taking center stage, the Vikings came away with a hard-fought win over the Fighting Saints, 17-14.
Vikings set to host Lindsey Wilson in the quarterfinals
Grand View will host Lindsey Wilson in the quarterfinals of the NAIA Football Playoffs. The game will be played here in Des Moines at Duke Williams stadium at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 26.
A rivalry that has blossomed largely over the last few years is the match-up between the Vikings and the Blue Raiders. The current record between the two programs play in favor of the Vikings (2-1) after their last meeting in the semifinals in Kentucky last fall where the Vikings rallied back in the fourth quarter to advance to the National Championship game. The Vikings won in 2015 at the Duke 16-13, and one year later were defeated by the Blue Raiders 27-34.
Lindsey Wilson holds a 10-1 record after defeating No. 9 seed Reinhardt University in their opening round 23-22.

GRAND VIEW WINS ON SENIOR DAY
Grand View football closed out its regular season on November 12 when they hosted conference foe Clarke University. The Vikings improved their overall record to 11-0 with a 39-7 victory over the Pride.
With the win, Grand View also claimed the North Division Championship for the Heart of America Conference for the fourth season in a row.
With it being the last home regular season of the game as well, 27 seniors were honored before the game for Senior Day celebrations.
PLAYOFFS NEXT
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the 16-team playoff bracket. The first round will see a matchup between your Grand View Vikings and the Fighting Saints of Carroll of Montana.
The Montana Carroll has received the 15th seed, finished the regular season at 8-2 overall, and received their bid by winning the Frontier Conference Championship.
The match-up is set to kick off at 12:00 PM CT in Des Moines, IA at the Duke.

Your #2 ranked Grand View football team was back in action with another road contest on Saturday, November 5 as they took on the Wildcats of Culver-Stockton College. The Vikings improved their overall record to 10-0 on the season, defeating Culver-Stockton behind an impressive running attack, 46-21.

The Vikings will return home for their regular season finale versus Clarke University on Saturday, November 12. Grand View and Clarke are slated to kick off at 12:00 p.m. CT and seniors from the team will be honored as a part of Senior Day celebrations.
